It is your (the Client) responsibility to understand, agree, and accept responsibility for all booking conditions, including all payments due by specified dates. By proceeding to pay a deposit, you accept that you are entering into a contract and you agree to be bound by these conditions.

If your booking is for a special occasion, makeup lesson etc. then the process will be slightly different. 

You will still fill out the same form on the contact page, providing as much information as you can. Once I have been in touch to confirm availability and you are happy with the details you will be asked for a 50% non-refundable deposit which needs to be paid within 5 days of the invoice date. Your final balance is then due no later than 14 days before your appointment date.

If your enquiry is for an appointment within the next four weeks then you will be required to make full payment within 5 days of the invoice date.  

For weddings, between the months of May and October I have a minimum booking policy of 3 adult clients (bride + 2) for hair and / or makeup services. A surcharge may apply if the booking is for less than 3 adult clients. The surcharge will be charged at the rate of an adult bridesmaid until the minimum of 3 adults is reached. 

A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required to secure your date. Bookings are not secured until this deposit as been received. 

Trials are to be paid by cash or card on the day of your trial. 

Your remaining balance will be the total minus your £100 deposit and the total amount of your trial(s). Your remaining balance must be paid no later than 14 days prior to the wedding. 

All other bookings:
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. This needs to be paid within 5 days of the invoice date. Your final balance is then due no later than 14 days before your appointment date.

If your enquiry is for an appointment within the next four weeks then you will be required to make full payment within 5 days of the invoice date. 

Mileage is charged at a rate of 45p per mile from my address (OX13 5FX). Any additional parking and / or congestion charges are also payable. 

If the schedule of services for your day requires a start time that is earlier than 6am then local accommodation for the night previous to the wedding day will be included in your quote. This is to ensure adequate time can be allocated for all services without compromising on quality or the safety of your artist. 

Local accommodation will also be payable if it is not practical to travel on the day of your event for reasons such as, but not limited to, a travelling distance in excess of 1.5 hours from OX13 5FX, or severe weather forecast.

Destination weddings: 
Travel and accommodation costs are payable. 

Payment can be made by BACS / Bank Transfer for deposits and remaining balances.

Cash or card are accepted for trials only. 

I of course hope that you do not need to use this information however I do understand that sometimes things happen and you may need to cancel your booking. 

Deposits and trial fees are non-refundable.  

If a wedding or part of a booking is cancelled within four weeks of your wedding date, the full balance is required in full. 

If you decide to cancel your booking after your trial has taken place, the deposit will be retained along with trial costs. 

In exceptional circumstances I may need to cancel a booking. This has never happened before and I hope it never will. However, in the event that I need to cancel a booking all attempts to find an alternative artist will be made. If this is not possible or is unacceptable to you then your deposit will be refunded.

If you need to make any changes to your booking please notify me in writing as soon as possible to ensure your requirements can still be met. 

If you would like to change the date of your trial, an alternative date will be found. 

If you need to change the date of your wedding, I will do my best to accommodate the change. If however, I am unavailable on your new date then I will supply you with a list of alternative artists and the usual cancellation policy will apply. 

If you need to make a change to the number of clients or the services booked, a new price will be given to reflect the changes. Please note that if your booking drops below the minimum of 3 adults, that the minimum booking and cancellation policies still stand.

If you need to make a change to the “getting ready location”, either completely or during the morning of the wedding then there may be an additional travel charge to cover this change. 

Confidential information (the ‘Confidential Information’) refers to any data or information relating to the Client, whether business or personal, which would reasonably be considered to be private or proprietary to the Client and that is not generally known and where the
release of that Confidential Information could reasonably be expected to cause harm to the Client.

The Artist agrees that they will not disclose, divulge, reveal, report or use, for any purpose, any Confidential Information which the Artist has obtained, except as authorised by the Client. This obligation will survive indefinitely upon termination of this Agreement.

The Artist agrees to comply with GDPR legislations.

You (the Client) are responsible for informing me (the Artist) of any issues that may affect the use of any equipment or products. This includes but is not limited to sensitivities, allergies and medical conditions. The Artist cannot be held liable for any reactions or losses that are incurred due to the client’s failure to inform them of any known condition.

If you are ill or contagious on the day of your trial, you are is obligated to inform me and reschedule with as much notice as possible.

If the I am ill or contagious on the day of the your trial, then you will be informed and the trial rescheduled to prevent further illness.

If you are ill on the day of the event, you are obligated to notify me so all  precautions can be taken.

If the you or anyone included on the booking has a serious and/or contagious illness or condition on the day of the event, I reserve the right to refuse service due to contamination and infection risk. This includes but is not limited to conjunctivitis, cold sores, cold, flu, measles, mumps, chicken pox, shingles, open cuts/sores, ringworm/fungal infections (above the chest).

In the unlikely event that I am extremely sick, hospitalised or unable to work on your wedding/event due to extreme and/or unforeseen tragic circumstances, I will endeavour to organise another artist with an equivalent skill level.

It is understood and agreed that I will not be liable to you or any agent or associate of yours, for any reactions or sensitivities that are caused by Services rendered.

In the instance that the Client is under the age of 18 years old, Parental Consent will be required in the form of a completed Parental Consent form.

You agree that I may use any photography for publicity and marketing purposes this includes but is not limited to the my website and social media pages.

I reserve the right to amend or modify these Terms as necessary.
